Pick a side

Everyone thinks they're the good guys, with few exceptions. Good thoughts and deeds are exaggerated, bad thoughts and deeds are justified. This is especially true for those who value religious belief above all. Any evil committed in the service of the beliefs one holds becomes right and good.

Here's a tip for those who would commit evil in the name of good.

You're probably wrong. Most likely. Almost definitely. That makes you weak, open to manipulation by both sides. And both sides will use you to your detriment.

So pick a side. Embrace the evil you've chosen. Acknowledge the wrongness of your actions. Consciously choose to see yourself as who you've chosen to be and work towards perfecting it.

Deny this, continue to believe you're a good person after committing the greatest moral crimes possible, and I promise you.

You will be used. By both sides.

Have a nice day.
